Timeline:

Summer 2001: Some of us start talking about running a game.

July 9, 2001: We ask the game community about past game themes and are sad to hear that there had already been an Alice in Wonderland game. Back to brainstorming theme ideas.

November 1, 2001: We announce there will be an Orange Crush game in the spring of 2003.

November 2001 - Spring 2002: We talk a lot amongst ourselves about what we like and dislike about games, brainstorm clue ideas, talk a lot about theme ideas, focus on what it takes to be GC, completely ignore clue locations.

Spring 2002: We get organized. We establish a collaborative workspace, start keeping lists of clue ideas, clue locations, theme ideas, etc.

Late Spring 2002: We settle on Goonies for our theme!

Summer 2002: We start meeting every week.

Fall 2002: We start prototyping and playtesting clues amongst ourselves.

January 2003: Panic sets in. We start thinking about applications.

March 2003: We interview teams and make acceptance decisions. We also start playtesting clues with outsiders.

April 2003: We revise clues. Playtest some more. Mass production of clues.

April 20, 2003: We stop sleeping

April 26-27, 2003: The Game

April 27, 10pm, 2003: We sleep!
